Art Fairs

21 - 23 November 2025

For the 2025 edition of Luxembourg Art Week, we propose a compelling group exhibition featuring eight artists across generations. Bringing together iconic figures like Sonia Delaunay, Vera Molnar, and Günther Uecker with a new wave of contemporary creators, the show traces the evolution of geometric art—from its early roots to today’s tech-infused interpretations.

This curated dialogue highlights the enduring legacy and constant reinvention of geometric abstraction, as bold early compositions give way to experimental forms shaped by digital media and unconventional materials.

Featured Artists:

Sonia Delaunay – A pioneer of abstract and applied arts, known for her vivid use of color and geometric forms.

• Günther Uecker – Known for his nail reliefs, which create rhythmic, spatial compositions.

• Vera Molnar – A pioneer of generative and computer-based art who has been pushing artistic boundaries since the 1960s.

• Renate Krammer – Creates rhythmic paper works that evoke light, movement, and a silent visual language.

Stéphanie Guglielmetti – Transforms watch components into delicate, drifting installations.

• Jean-Luc Bruckert – Blends color and form in both real and virtual spaces, creating immersive experiences.

• Pierre Muckensturm – Uses light, shadow, and line to form contemplative, nature-inspired geometries.

• Sascha Nordmeyer – Explores the interplay of geometry, reflection, and time with meticulously hand-pressed micro-reflectors in his works.

This intergenerational exhibition invites viewers to explore the rich continuum of geometric expression.
