The double pages of "Financial Time" were selected according to the number and distribution of pictures. For stability, each selected newspaper page is laminated together with white tissue paper on the front and back. This creates a textured surface.
This composition, taken from the newspaper, is complemented by precisely placed black or purple lines, applied with the help of strings wetted with pigment powder. Sometimes they run through the middle of a shape, at other times they run along the edge of a rectangle. It seems as if the shapes are drawn on the string and can move back and forth in their position.
